Marty Combs has been performing professionally for more than twenty years. He graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, TN, with a degree in music business. In fact, he used to sit in class with Brad Paisley. Marty has had the opportunity to share the stage with some well-known artists including Michael Martin Murphy, Eddy Raven, and Dwight Yoakam. He fronted a country band for two years playing all around Utah, Colorado and Wyoming. His influences are many, ranging from stone cold country like Hank Jr., Merle Haggard and George Jones, to the blues and Classic Rock sounds of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, The Eagles, Bob Seger, and so many more! His song list reflects this wide range of musical tastes. He has participated in many competitions over the years, most notably the Country Showdown where he has competed at the state level in both Utah and Oregon, winning the Utah state Country Showdown and moving on to the national semi-finals. He has written dozens of songs and produced three albums of original music. In 2014, Marty was asked to perform as part of the Cultural Center Series at the Ross Ragland Theater in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He gave a great performance to a sold out crowd. In 2016, he was invited to perform again at the Ross Ragland, this time with the Klamath Symphony Orchestra. Marty continues to pursue his passion which is to move people with his original music and live performances. He is truly at home on stage and lives for those moments when he can connect with his audience.
